The A848 from Salen terminates at the cattle grid (view towards Salen) to the right of the new garage and apartment.

Private road access is then provided via a short gravel roadway leading to the 70m long timber 5m wide roadway to the head of the pier.

Sea Access

The area of the head of the Pier is approx 28m long by 8m wide. 

The Pier provides access at all tides with approx. 4.5m draft available at spring low tides and 9m at High tide.

Two ladders provide access on the East and North faces.

A staircase is available on the South West face (for smaller craft) now with six 4x4 tyres for limited protection.

4+ meters of depth available at spring low tide.
At high tide approx 9 meters available.
D section rubber rubbing strips now on legs along head of pier.

Slipway

A concrete & gravel slipway is available for launching small boats.  Access is available at most tides.

At the top of the slipway is a fresh water tap and 240V can be available.

Water

Mains water is available at the head of the pier.

240v (16Amp) hook up available on request.

On the north face is a galvanised ladder approx 4m long
